Hoteling Room Reservations (Staff & Faculty Only)

GSE has several offices and cubicles available as hoteling space for staff and faculty. You can reserve space up to three months in advance using the Robin reservation system.

Note: GSE staff and faculty can request access to Robin by submitting a ticket to IT Help.

Hoteling Frequently Asked Questions

What days of the week can I reserve a hoteling space? During what hours may I reserve space? 

All locations can be reserved from 7am to 10pm, Monday through Sunday.

Note that for 3440 Market Street, regular business hours (front door unlocked, guard at front desk) are Monday–Friday from 7am to 8pm and Saturday 8am to 2pm. If you would like to access the building during off hours, please contact gse-sro@upenn.edu. 

How far into the future can I reserve hoteling space?

Space may be reserved up to 3 months in advance.

Are all offices single desk spaces?

Many offices are single desk spaces; however, certain larger offices have multiple desks permitting reservations by multiple parties.

Where can I hold group meetings? 

Although we decided to not use many of our classrooms/conference rooms for class purposes due to the uncertainty of noise levels, your group may choose to reserve these rooms during the day. You can submit a request via Penn GSE Room Reservations at the top of this page.

• You may request a room outside of GSE for a course or course-related event.

Student sponsored events, one-time special events (not course related) such as conferences, receptions, luncheons, etc. are reserved through Penn University Life Space and Events.

Penn Libraries

Penn Libraries provides offers meeting and group study rooms for use by the campus community. You can reserve a room online with your PennKey.

Group study room spaces are designed for active collaboration. Students agree to abide by the  Penn Codes of Student Conduct and to follow  GSE policies. Use is restricted to Penn GSE ID holders.

• Use of Group Study Rooms requires 2 or more people.
• Individuals may reserve a room for group use for up to two hours a week.
• Reservations can be made seven days in advance.
• Groups need to check in via the Robin app upon arrival. If groups do not check in within one hour of their reserved start time, they will lose their reservation.
• Individuals may not reserve study rooms for private study but may use unreserved rooms temporarily until groups with reservations arrive.
